Rob and I have been watching it every day for a week now. Last Monday, we were so inspired by a segment on maple syrup that we went to the grocery store to buy ingredients for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foodtv.com\/foodtv\/recipe\/0,6255,18179,00.html\" target=\"_blank\">maple chicken wings<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foodtv.com\/foodtv\/recipe\/0,6255,18177,00.html\" target=\"_blank\">banana fritters<\/a>. Yummy. I don&#8217;t know how to cook at all &#8212; Rob is the cook around here &#8212; so I guess this is a good thing.<\/p>\n<p>I didn&#8217;t get tickets to the American Idol concert &#8212; boo. The nearest concert is around an hour away from here and Rob&#8217;s car is very temperamental right now (read: it only starts when it wants to) so we don&#8217;t want to take the chance that it&#8217;ll die from the drive. Oh well. BUT my good friend <b>Nik<\/b> has offered to make a copy of the American Idol finale! Yay!
