It was a little hard at first to get used to the way it was written &#8212; rather than a first person narrative, it was written through emails, memos, diary entries, etc. But I think the story made up for the novelty&#8230; Plus, I completely fell in love with the main character&#8217;s love interest, hee!<br \/>\n16. <i>The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants<\/i> by Ann Brashares, 304 p<br \/>\nI was sucked in by those darn commercials for the movie that I kept seeing while watching <i>Gilmore Girls<\/i>. Loved all the characters (especially Carmen and Bridget) but thought that their summer stories were wrapped up a little too neatly. I&#8217;ll probably pick up the second book out of curiosity. And possibly watch the movie too. \ud83d\ude1b<\/p>\n<p>Next up is <i>Memoirs of a Geisha<\/i> recommended to me by <a href=\"http:\/\/barrygrant81.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Barry<\/a>. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Book Challenge update&#8230; May 15.
