I think I love you.

Some comments on the Monday shows…

Kitchen Confidential
I liked this A LOT. It screamed “PILOT” but it has potential. Bradley Cooper rocked (naturally) and it’s nice to see that Nicholas Brendon and John Francis Daley (Freaks and Geeks forever!) can still bring the funny. But it seems I was right about Bonnie Sommerville. She got on my last nerve. I can totally see her character getting into a relationship with Jack too… ACK. I don’t know if I can handle her in a central storyline. Anyway, does anyone know why John Cho was dropped from the main cast? I thought he was so good!

Las Vegas
I haven’t seen this show in *ages* and I’ve missed Josh Duhamel. I figured I could Tivo Prison Break for one night. I loved how Danny had to travel around Las Vegas rounding up all the old employees (plus Mike working as a valet in an ELF costume!). Too bad it took me a while to figure out *why* they all needed to be brought together in the first place (and also what the heck Lara Flynn Boyle was doing on the show). Now, I know Danny and Mary (ugh, I *still* don’t like her — her character does nothing!) are “meant to be” or whatever but I would really love to see him with Sam. I thought Josh Duhamel and Vanessa Marcil were *gorgeous* together in the scene where he picked her up (ahh, wishful thinking). I was sad to hear that Nessa is gone… they couldn’t have gotten rid of Delinda instead? *sigh* I really enjoy this show (it’s total mindless fluff) but I don’t think I’ll be watching it regularly. It’s another one of those shows I’d rather follow on DVD.

So the Emmys were pretty bad, huh? Each year I look forward to it and each year I’m disappointed. My commentary from the other night’s show…

Wow, the opening number SUCKED. So boring. The Black Eyed Peas and Earth Wind & Fire seemed lifeless.

Marcia Cross looked beautiful in her green dress. Such a great contrast to her red hair. Love her. But I’m beginning to hate all the Desperate Housewives jokes. It’s getting old.

Emmy Idol?!? I can’t believe Donald Trump is singing on national television.

Lauren Graham is freaking gorgeous.

AWW. Kristen Bell. Her voice is TOO CUTE. But her Fame performance was way cheesy. And kinda embarassing.

Does Gary Dourdan really sing? Huh. Whatever. I love him anyway.

Jonathan Rhys-Meyers was nominated — how did I not know that? Wow, he looks amazing. YUM. It’s kinda sad how I’m not even interested in the show or the awards anymore. I’m all about the eye candy now.

William Shatner singing the theme to Star Trek. WHY?!?

I love Conan. I started to tune out and he reeled me back in.

Felicity Huffman!!! I was really hoping it would be her or Marcia Cross. I’m so happy for her!

James Spader and Everybody Loves Raymond AGAIN?!? I don’t understand.

Yay for Lost! I didn’t really have favorites for any of the categories this year but I was hoping Lost would win for Best Drama just so I could see the pretty, pretty cast on stage. Awww.

Ahhh, premiere week. I think I love you. Some comments on the Monday shows… Kitchen Confidential I liked this A LOT.
