It was definitely a horrible way to start my day by turning on the TV and seeing all the images and the press coverage of the Columbia tragedy. I want to extend my sympathy to the families of those who died. They will all be in my thoughts and prayers.<\/p>\n
*sigh*<\/i> So… even though it’s Saturday, I’m gonna do the Friday Five<\/a> —<\/p>\n As a child, who was your favorite superhero\/heroine? Why?<\/b> I really loved She-Ra, Princess of Power! She rocked. And she had a cool castle too.<\/p>\n What was one thing you always wanted as a child but never got?<\/b> Hmm… I have to admit that I was pretty spoiled as a child… you know, that whole only child thing. But I did want one of those Easy Bake ovens, hee.<\/p>\n What’s the furthest from home you’ve been?<\/b> The furthest I’ve been from home is probably going to the Philippines or to Hong Kong. I’m not exactly sure which one is farther. The plane ride is about 14-15 hours long. It’s pretty horrifying because I can’t stand airplane bathrooms. *shudders*<\/i><\/p>\n What’s one thing you’ve always wanted to learn but haven’t yet?<\/b> Uhhh… learn to cook? lol. As my boyfriend can attest to, my cooking skills are pretty much non-existent.<\/p>\n What are your plans for the weekend?<\/b> Not much — just relaxing before my first day of work on Monday!<\/p>\n OMG! Sometimes I can’t believe my extreme lack of self-control!
