I know I’ve been blogging about Dawson’s Creek<\/i> lately… and I swear I’m trying to come up with more varied topics to write about… but since the season 2 DVDs come out tomorrow, I have DC on the brain. \ud83d\ude1b So I was really looking forward to getting my DVDs but once I saw exactly how many songs were replaced<\/a>, my anticipation went down to almost nothing. \ud83d\ude41 I mean, I knew that the financial costs of all the songs precluded many of them from being on the DVD but WOW… they had to replace some key songs.<\/p>\n

A few of my favorites that are gone…
\n— Kiss the Rain<\/i> by Billie Myers — from the Dawson\/Joey makeup scene in Crossroads<\/i>
\n— Save Tonight<\/i> by Save Ferris — from the Dawson\/Pacey scene at the end of Crossroads<\/i>
\n— Nobody But Me<\/i> by Save Ferris — from the end of The All-Nighter<\/i> when the Creekers jump into the pool (LOVE this scene! I’m so sad this song didn’t make the cut.)
\n— You Get What You Give<\/i> by The New Radicals — from the Dawson\/Joey walking in the rain scene at the end of Sex, She Wrote<\/i>
\n— Paper Cup<\/i> by Heather Nova — from the Pacey\/Andie goodbye scene in Ch…Ch…Changes<\/i><\/p>\n

That doesn’t even scratch the surface! Humph. They better not mess with season 3, that’s all I have to say. Ok. Rant over.<\/p>\n

I guess I can console myself with all the pretty screencaps that I can make…<\/p>\n

Anyway. No more DC talk. At least for the rest of this blog. Hehe.<\/p>\n

Oh! I got my Return of the King<\/i> tickets!!! Very exciting. Rob and I are going at 11:15 on Wednesday night. Hee. I’m going to get like 3 hours of sleep before work the next day. Nice.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
