I know we’re a week into 2008 but I have to do another one of these 2007 year in review memes. Real life, this time. \ud83d\ude00 Stolen from Christie<\/a>…<\/p>\n

Where did you begin 2007?<\/b>
\nRob and I were at my friend Jason’s place. We had pizza (Zachary’s! YUM!) for dinner and we almost fell asleep waiting for midnight. \ud83d\ude1b
\nWhat was your status by Valentine’s Day?<\/b>
\nWas still single but attached. (Is that even what this question is asking?)
\nWere you in school (anytime this year)?<\/b>
\nNo, just working. ARGH. Haven’t been in school since 2001.
\nDid you have to go to the hospital?<\/b>
\nNope.
\nDid you have any encounters with the police?<\/b>
\nNope. I’m a good girl.
\nWhere did you go on vacation?<\/b>
\nRob and I took a weekend trip this year to Monterey\/Carmel in May for our anniversary. And that’s where we got engaged! \ud83d\ude00 I also went to Palm Springs with my best friends for our 2nd annual Girls Weekend. Good times.
\nWhat did you purchase that was over $500?<\/b>
\nMy wedding dress. And various other wedding “stuff” like our venue and the deposits for our vendors.
\nDid you know anybody who got married?<\/b>
\nYup, Rob’s friend Daniel got hitched in April.
\nDid you know anybody who passed away?<\/b>
\nNo.
\nDid you move anywhere?<\/b>
\nNo.
\nWhat sporting events did you attend?<\/b>
\nNone. I’m not really a sports person. I like to watch games from the comfort of my couch.
\nWhat concerts\/shows did you go to?<\/b>
\nJustin Timberlake in January!!!
\nWhere do you live now?<\/b>
\nNorthern CA
\nDescribe your birthday:<\/b>
\nVery low-key. Went to work, left early and then went to dinner with Rob. Then my cousin arrived that night for a weekend visit and we had a great time hanging out.
\nWhat’s the one thing you thought you would never do but did in 2007?<\/b>
\nGet a dog. Well, it’s not that I thought I would NEVER get one… I just didn’t think Rob and I would get one so soon.
\nWhat has been your favorite moment(s)?<\/b>
\nGetting engaged. Definitely. I seriously felt like I was floating; I was ridiculously happy.
\nWhat’s something you learned about yourself?<\/b>
\nI realized that I have a tendency to sit back and let things happen to me… and if I want things to end up a certain way, I need to be the one to initiate the resolution\/change.
\nAny new additions to your family?<\/b>
\nJust our little furry monster Diesel.
\nWhat was your best month?<\/b>
\nMay. Rob and I got engaged on the 12th and we brought Diesel home on the 26th. It was a good month.
\nWhat music will you remember 2007 by?<\/b>
\nI really only listen to pop music so I’ll probably remember Rihanna’s Umbrella<\/i> and Fergie’s Big Girls Don’t Cry<\/i>. Also anything from Timbaland’s Shock Value album.
\nFavorite Night out?<\/b>
\nThe night I stood in line to get the last Harry Potter<\/i> book. SQUEE. What can I say? I’m a total geek at heart.
\nAny regrets?<\/b>
\nI’m sure I have some but none come to mind right now.
\nWhat do you want to change in 2008?<\/b>
\nI want to be<\/i> happy instead of wishing<\/i> I could be happy. I want to get in shape and lose a little weight. And I want to start preparing for the future (ie. save money for a home, etc).
\nHow would you rate this year?<\/b>
\nOne of the best.
\nWhat would you change about 2007?<\/b>
\nHonestly? Nothing.
\nWhat did you like most about 2007?<\/b>
\nWedding planning. It’s actually so much more fun that I ever would have thought.
\nOther than home, where did you spend most of your time?<\/b>
\nWork. BOO.
\nChange your hairstyle?<\/b>
\nMy hair’s still pretty short (it hits a few inches above my shoulders) but I started to grow out my bangs. I got sick of them. I’m still a little self-conscious about my forehead, though. Cause it’s huge.
\nHave any car accidents?<\/b>
\nNo. I barely drove in 2007.
\nBuy a new car?<\/b>
\nHeh.
\nGet a new job?<\/b>
\nNo.
\nHow old did you turn this year?<\/b>

\nDo you have any New Year’s resolutions?<\/b>
\nI kinda touched on this in a previous question, but here they are officially:
\n1. Be happy.
\n2. Get into shape and lose weight.
\n3. Save money
\nThese are my resolutions every year. :\/ This time, I mean it! (Though I do have to say that I am much, much better at #3 due to the wedding planning).
\nDo anything embarrassing?<\/b>
\nI’m sure I did. But I erased it from my memory.
\nBuy anything new from eBay?<\/b>
\nYup! I like to buy stamp pads from eBay. They’re far cheaper than buying them at Michaels or the scrapbook stores.
\nWhat was your favorite purchase?<\/b>
\nWedding dress! \ud83d\ude1b I’m such a girl.
\nGet married or divorced?<\/b>
\nNo.
\nGet arrested?<\/b>
\nNo.
\nBe honest – did you watch American Idol?<\/b>
\nI watched the auditions but I didn’t finish the season — I wasn’t engaged by any of the contestants. I’ll probably watch it this year since most of my shows are done for the year.
\nDid you get sick this year?<\/b>
\nMaybe 2 or 3 times… nothing major. I did call-in sick one day that I wasn’t sick. Hee.
\nStart a new hobby?<\/b>
\nScrapbooking!
\nBeen snowboarding?<\/b>
\nNo.
\nAre you happy to see 2007 go?<\/b>
\nOnly in the sense that I like the idea of a new year, fresh start…
\nDrank Starbucks in 2007?<\/b>
\nOF COURSE. I have a mocha or a latte at least once a week. EEK. It’s scary to think of how much I’ve spent there.
