We ended up at Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles<\/a> for Rob. Pretty cool to see actors like Sean Astin<\/a> and Jason Biggs<\/a> so excited about their voice work on this upcoming animated show.<\/p>\n And I chose the Cult<\/a> panel. Pretty much only for Matt Davis<\/a>. Heh. Oh, and Alona Tal<\/a>. Love those two actors. We got to see the pilot, which was… underwhelming. It’s centered around a TV show about a cult that is inspiring real life disappearances. Yeeeaaahhh. I don’t see myself obsessing about this show next season.<\/p>\n After these two panels, we finally hit the convention floor!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The floor is always INCREDIBLY crowded so I tend not to take too many pictures of all the cosplayers. I’m too busy trying to survive the walk through the floor! We did see…<\/p>\n An awesome Incredible Hulk lego figure…<\/p>\n KITT from Knight Rider…<\/p>\n The Ugly Dolls…<\/p>\n And Dark Helmet from Spaceballs<\/i>. Great costume!<\/p>\n We also passed by the Warner Bros booth and happened to see Emilia Clarke<\/a> and Richard Madden<\/a> walking by. Daenarys and Robb Stark!!! Sadly I was not fast enough to catch Emilia but here’s a really lousy picture of Richard. He looked right at me!<\/p>\n After getting our fill of the floor, we headed to the YouTube lounge to hang out with Felicia Day<\/a> and Wil Wheaton<\/a>. \ud83d\ude09 Hehe.<\/p>\n We ended the day with dinner at Roy’s<\/a> on the waterfront. I know it’s a chain but I have SUCH a soft spot for it because we dined at the Pebble Beach location right after getting engaged (5+ years ago!).<\/p>\n Saturday, July 14<\/b><\/p>\n This was our EPIC day in Ballroom 20. We wanted to get in for the first panel and stay to the last.<\/p>\n And epic it was. There were so many people in line that we got into the ballroom about halfway into the first panel.<\/p>\n First up was Warehouse 13<\/a>. Rob’s the one that watches this show…<\/p>\n And I watch Once Upon a Time<\/a>. I must not be paying too much attention because I had NO idea every episode’s title cards are different. Each of them features the focus of the episode or the introduction of a character. We were treated to next season’s title cards for Mulan, Aurora (my favorite!) and Jack and the Beanstalk.<\/p>\n Family Guy<\/a> is another show I don’t watch (again, this is Rob’s show) but it doesn’t matter because this panel is always HILARIOUS. Oh man. The two best moments were —<\/p>\n – When the cast was purposely saying naughty things in order to watch the interpreters sign to the deaf members of the audience. OMG. LOLOL.<\/p>\n Oh. Also, Mila Kunis<\/a> is FLAWLESS. So gorgeous.<\/p>\n Then we stuck around for the vampire block of Vampire Diaries<\/a> and True Blood<\/a>.<\/p>\n Such a beautiful cast! \ud83d\ude42 Sadly, I was a little underwhelmed by the panel (seriously, the moderators make a HUGE difference). The one piece of information I remember is that when asked who they want to kiss or have sex with on the show, Paul Wesley<\/a> said Elijah. Nina Dobrev<\/a> and Ian Somerhalder<\/a> agreed. AWESOME.<\/p>\n Gawd, even more gorgeous people. My memory is fading and all I remember is that —<\/p>\n – Stephen Moyer<\/a> and Alex Skarsgard<\/a> got their wrists slapped for laughing too much during the filming of the scene where they were stuck in a trunk together. Sunday, July 15<\/b><\/p>\n For our last day we bought tickets to Nathan Fillion’s<\/a> “conversation” at NerdHQ. One thing I LOVED was that seating was assigned and we ended up in the second row!<\/p>\n Here’s a screenshot that I pulled from the archived video<\/a>. You can see us on the very right side — Rob’s wearing a purple Lakers shirt and I’m next to him. LOL.<\/p>\n Zachary Levi<\/a> was on hand to introduce the panel.<\/p>\n Nathan Fillion has the unique ability to carry a panel by himself. It actually ended up being an impromptu auction because he brought a bunch of personal items to sell for charity. Like the Gryffindor lanyard and Slytherin scarf above! Seriously, he’s so awesome.<\/p>\n Easily one of our favorite panels at the Con.<\/p>\n Aaaaannnddd that’s all folks!
