It’s so good to be back in the Bay. I love visiting my Dad and my family down in Southern CA but I don’t know what it is, I just don’t feel like it’s my “home” anymore. Sure, I grew up there and it’ll always be a part of me but I can’t relate to the culture or way of life — something. I can’t really put my finger on it but for the first time, it really truly felt like I was visiting and not returning home.<\/p>\n
Anyway, I didn’t really do much of anything — just had meal after meal with my family and went shopping (of course!) with my Dad and my cousin. They’re like my official shopping buddies when I visit. I managed to get my Dad’s Father’s Day present while he wasn’t looking and also bought a few tank tops for my trip to Hawaii.<\/p>\n
When I got back last night, I discovered that my computer still wasn’t working — the last time I blogged, which was Thursday night, my computer started running reeeeaaaally slowly. And this annoying little window kept popping up that says “Disk Error. Please insert disk… blah, blah.” Grr! I don’t know why it does that — and then when I try to cancel it, it just keeps going and going and going… like the damn Energizer Bunny. Humph.
