Hey chica,
It’s like Friendster, you have a profile, you connect with friends, and if you want, connect with their friends. You can also blog on it, which I guess is like Live Journal. There’s also a bunch of other features that I don’t take advantage of. If you happen to join the bandwagon, look me up, I blog there sometimes 😉
I actually have been wondering the same thing lately. I like LJ better though. My space is filled with many teenagers it seems, very immature ones at that.
I guess you can say that myspace and lj are similar, but lj is much better. I’m very against myspace and only have an account because my friend set one up for me, which I never even use but it’s basically a place for 14 year old girls to post pictures of themselves that would make their parents very unhappy. If you are a normal person who uses it, it’s a good way to stay in contact with people because basically the whole world has a myspace.
I just jumped on the ship a few weeks ago. That’s what happens when I discover John Mayer has A Myspace page and has been blogging there. He’s actually on my friends list and I on is, (as is about close to 16,000 others, so I’m not really sure how special I should feel). It’s all too weird. lol
