It’s so good to be back in the Bay. I love visiting my Dad and my family down in Southern CA but I don’t know what it is, I just don’t feel like it’s my “home” anymore. Sure, I grew up there and it’ll always be a part of me but I can’t relate to the culture or way of life — something. I can’t really put my finger on it but for the first time, it really truly felt like I was visiting and not returning home.
Anyway, I didn’t really do much of anything — just had meal after meal with my family and went shopping (of course!) with my Dad and my cousin. They’re like my official shopping buddies when I visit. I managed to get my Dad’s Father’s Day present while he wasn’t looking and also bought a few tank tops for my trip to Hawaii.
When I got back last night, I discovered that my computer still wasn’t working — the last time I blogged, which was Thursday night, my computer started running reeeeaaaally slowly. And this annoying little window kept popping up that says “Disk Error. Please insert disk… blah, blah.” Grr! I don’t know why it does that — and then when I try to cancel it, it just keeps going and going and going… like the damn Energizer Bunny. Humph. So Rob is looking into the problem for me — and I’ll be taking his computer hostage so I can still blog, update and make wp. 🙂
i had that problem…then my hard drive crashed…
Sebastian, you are so reassuring. 😛
hmm, Kel, i hope your computer gets better. i dunno… ive never had that happen before. and i will email you sometime this week about hawaii… 🙂
hmm..i had this problem when i turned on my comp and it was on the black screen…then it was like ‘please insert the correct disk’ and that was when there was another disk in there that wasn’t the windows disk. ::shrugs::
Kel is a Cerritos hater…actually she just hates all the young high school punks (most notably the stupid little flips who use their cell phones during mass, now don’t get all prissy cuz I myself am a flip)…regarding your computer problem: i suggest you just stick your hard drive into that wonderful boyfriend of yours’ computer…he sounds like such a cool guy…so cool that he was probably given honorable mention as “Intern of the Fortnight” at his work.
johnny cerritos should just buy a new hard drive…
if duk should happen to fork over $80 extra bucks to the George Lucas fund then J. Cerritos would buy himself a hard drive…in the meantime J. Cerritos will have to manage with his monstrous 6.4 GB HDD.
Weirdos. 😛
