Got my Dawson’s Creek DVDs today! So very excited. I haven’t gotten the chance to watch them yet… saving that for the weekend so it’ll be a marathon along with the season 2 episodes that I’ll be taping the rest of this week.
Ok, going to make some screencaps of “The Dance” now — definitely one of my favorite s1 episodes. I loooove the Dawson/Jen scene at the end. “I want to be your boy adventure. ” Awww… back then, I wanted Dawson and Joey to realize their feelings for each other but I did love Dawson and Jen’s brief relationship as well. Sometimes I feel like the only person in the DC fandom who loved Jen in season 1. I know the writers set her up as “the obstacle” to Dawson and Joey but I never used that as a reason to dislike her — and since she’s my favorite character, it disappoints me to read all the blind hatred of her characters simply because she “got in the way.”
Anyway, if anyone else wants me to make them screencaps of certain scenes from my DC DVDs, I’d be happy to do so. I probably don’t have time to do entire episodes but short scenes are fine. 🙂

I just got the season 1 dvds yesterday too 🙂 I’m loving all the reruns on TBS. Four hours a day, they are trying to kill me 😉
Oh! Yay! I was never into DC, but I watched a couple of episodes today. Yeah, I had a snow day in April.
Kel, I have no idea what possessed me, but I went out and bought the season 1 DVDs too! LOL, I am flat broke right now, but I wasn’t having any luck downloading them from Kazaa. So now I’ll just start being a fan from the beginning!
This is gonna sound really greedy, but I would *love you forever* (ooh, greedy and hyperbolic — go me! 😉 if you could cap any or all of the following scenes . . .
-In ‘Prelude To A Kiss’, when Dawson’s filming Jen; "sadness is my specialty", etc.
-Pacey walking down the beach at the end of ‘Look Who’s Talking’
-The gang running down the halls to Dance Hall Crashers in ‘The Breakfast Club’.
-Joey drunk and telling Pacey what a great friend he is in ‘Escape From New York’ (hee!)

Kel … all I’ve done the last 3 days is watch my DVDs. I just finished Scare. So I’m about 10 episodes in, and I had to share my DC love with someone, and I thought of you! LOL … I am beyond amazed at the chemistry between Joey and Pacey in season 1. I never saw it then, not at all. I wanted Joey and Dawson to realize their feelings for each other too… but after a reviewing, it’s undescribable how much chemistry is there. I’m just glad the writers noticed it eventually and gave us the wonder that is true love … :sigh: I’m in a weird mood.
I got my DC DVD today! I haven’t had a chance to watch mine yet, either…but I’m definitely looking forward to it. It’s nice seeing someone as excited as I am to watch season one again! 🙂
I, too, loved Jen in Season 1. She was my favorite character, hands down. 🙂
..and I thought I was the only one. 😉
