spyMomski — whee!

The season premiere of Alias was pretty good — not really knock your socks off good but I guess the writers were trying to capture a new audience. But since I watched all of last season, I felt a bit like the episode was too slow — and the whole shrink narration thing going on was pretty… blah. All that time could have been spent on better things, like more Victor Garber and Michael Vartan. 🙂

And was it just me, or did a few things seem to be wrapped up so neatly? Like Dixon’s accusation and Vaughn’s escape? And whatever happened to Haladcki? I would have thought Jack would have to face some kind of consequences for that little incident. I do have to say that I am liking Will more and more — I didn’t feel anything for him last season but after the finale and the premiere tonight, he pretty much kicks ass. I wish there was a way for him to salvage his life though. And omg, Lena Olin is magnificent — she is sooo evil and geesh, she’s gorgeous! Can’t wait to see where they’re going with that storyline, especially since the tagline for the “next time on Alias” promos was — “Like Mother. Like Daughter. Like Hell.” Hee!

Hmm… I also caught American Dreams. Another… eh. The premise is cute but it seemed a bit cheesy. I’ll probably give it another try next week. We’ll see how long it can hold my attention.

Anyway, Amy and I are going to work on a recipe site for the DC Network. Whee!
